Low-Cost, Personalized Website Design for Small Businesses

Micheal and Ben, the two co-founders of Webvolve, have been friends and work colleagues for almost two decades. Based on our extensive experience with web designers while working at EarthLink, we saw a need for low-cost web design solutions for small businesses. Originally, we were going to provide cheap, template-based design which was before Wix and Square Space were even around. However, it became apparent that most of our potential clients had a need for more custom solutions and hand-holding from the design process and beyond.

At that moment, Webvolve was born. We established the company to provide professional web offerings with world-class support for a fraction of the cost of an agency. We do that by cutting out much of the extraneous costs of the typical agency including focusing on building new business through word-of-mouth rather than advertising and a development process that cuts down project hours by 70-80%. And we can do all of this without sacrificing the quality of our services.

Micheal Garza, the company’s CEO, has been designing websites since the internet boom in the mid-90s. While working on his Chemical Engineering degree at Rice University, Micheal was introduced to the internet for the first time and it quickly became his passion. Even while working at steady jobs, he provided internet and website consulting services in his spare time to local businesses in North Texas.

A lifelong Texan, Micheal moved to the Atlanta Metro area in 2004 to take on the responsibility of managing customer support responsibilities for resellers of EarthLink web hosting service. Most of these resellers were national web design firms which provided Micheal with an insight into how these firms worked. He most recently managed the web hosting and business internet access product lines for EarthLink’s 150,000 small business customers, including online marketing responsibility for all of EarthLink’s business products. “Small businesses too often have to sacrifice quality of services and support when going with a low-cost services provider,” says Micheal. “The goal of our company is to offer low-cost, turnkey website solutions with world-class support.”

When away from the office, Micheal enjoys spending time with his wife Samantha and 5-year-old daughter Emma at their home in Marietta. He is an avid sports fan and outdoor grill master.
